Platform Engineer
Platform engineers build the software delivery infrastructure of Baysil’s care platform.
As a platform company, Baysil builds clinical and administrative tools for healthcare providers, infrastructure for digital identities, technology to enable intelligent data processing, secure ecosystems, and much more. As a platform engineer, you will build and expand the software delivery pipelines for these products. You will be working with application engineers and data engineers, empowering them to deliver their work to customers faster, securely, and consistently.

You will be supported by your colleagues in marketing and operations, and get feedback from real customers.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with many unknowns and can design solutions to systematically gain clarity. You should be good at learning new technologies and leading projects. Above all, you should have creativity and imagination for how we can build simple yet extraordinary tools that amplify the care our customers provide.
You will:
- Develop and maintain platform infrastructure to speed up and automate the development, testing, and release of software
- Assess current systems and processes and develop ways to improve them
- Work closely with product managers, application engineers, data engineers, and other colleagues to oversee code releases
- Work with data engineers to understand the data and ML models they build and develop pipelines to put these models into production
- Optimize sourcing and delivery of large amounts of data
We are looking for someone with:
- Ability to design and implement cloud solutions, particularly in AWS
- Ability to build scalable DevOps and MLOps pipelines
- Experience building secure cloud infrastructure
It would be nice if you also have:
- Experience working with digital health infrastructure or inside a healthcare system
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of machine learning frameworks, such as PyTorch and Tensorflow
