Baysil Among Top-100 Semi-Finalists For Startup Global 2022
Healthcare team-focused collaboration platform will pitch at Startup Global this Fall

Waterloo, Ontario – Baysil’s integrated collaboration platform empowers community healthcare providers to make better care decisions as a team. The tech startup was selected by Startup Global to pitch at their 2022 semi-finals for a chance to go global. Startup Global connects a pan-Canadian cohort of entrepreneurs wanting to build global businesses with a network of partners dedicated to their success. Applicants can win from an overall cash prize pool of $75,000 to help grow their business, and semi-finalists, like Baysil, can enjoy exclusive perks such as access to in-kind support through advisory circles with co-presenting partners, pitch bootcamps, and 1:1 mentorship and advisory support to help perfect their pitch.
“Startup Global connects entrepreneurs who want to build globally-competitive businesses”, the not-for-profit announced on its website, along with the semi-finalists. “We know that Canada’s aspiring entrepreneurs have the talent, passion, and drive to succeed in today’s economy. We want entrepreneurs to manifest their own vision, faster”.
No matter where they are in the world, the expectations healthcare providers have from technology are changing. Instead of owning complex tools, they want instant value from simple solutions that are fully integrated, enable distributed teams, and shared ownership of work. To meet these expectations, Baysil’s platform integrates core care delivery tools into a simple experience, and enables collaboration of care teams on a large scale.
“Solving universal problems requires a global mindset”, says Arjumand Ateeq, CEO of Baysil. “This is why we’re building Baysil for a global audience from day one. Mentorship from Startup Global will uniquely inform our product and market strategy. We need to anticipate the problems now to build a strong foundation for a health platform that works for people anywhere in the world”.
