Technical Sales and Customer Success Lead

As Technical Sales & Customer Success Lead at Baysil and a Registered Midwife, Bounmy combines her clinical expertise and relationship-building skills to drive the adoption, satisfaction, and success of Baysil’s platform among customers.

Bounmy studied Midwifery at McMaster University and is pursuing a Masters in Health Policy and Health Equity at York University. She has provided Midwifery care for over 8 years through practices across Ontario.

In addition to her clinical work, Bounmy is involved in a number of initiatives that inform her work at Baysil. She has developed various clinical practice guidelines for WHO and the Ontario Association of Midwives. As Vice President of the Association of Ontario Midwives, she provides strategic guidance on midwifery-led pregnancy and newborn care across Ontario. She is a Midwifery Technical Expert at the Canadian Association of Midwives where she works on policies that influence health equity provincially and nationally. She co-chairs the Waterloo area Consortium of Midwives for KW4 Ontario Health Team, is advisor to the United Nations population fund, co-founder of the Lao Midwife Fund which funds projects related to equity, and was awarded the Midwifery Young Leaders award for her work in Laos addressing maternal and infant mortality.

When she is not providing or advocating for equitable care, you will find Bounmy in the kitchen or a restaurant, exploring new flavours and cuisines.
